Holding an evening of sensational corporate entertainment? Look no further. For this post I wanted to make suggestions and give you some fantastic ideas. Any event, be it a corporate disco or otherwise, should involve something out of the normal every day grind.

You might be planning a lively training event with an evening party or a fun-filled client affair with a lavish dinner and disco to follow, even if it’s a simple day out of the office there is something for every taste and so many great things to do. Everyone has a different idea on what corporate entertainment is but one thing’s for sure it should be memorable. See what I’ve put together below. After all, you’ll be remembered for organising this fabulous event.

What about themed days or weekends such as golf breaks, casino evenings, shopping weekends, teambuilding days, day out at the races, quad biking or karting and spa days?  Follow any of these with good food, wine and fantastic evening entertainment and whether it’s a day or a weekend you’ve organised it’s bound to be lively and enjoyable.

In summary, I’ve known companies simply book a hotel for the Christmas party and let the hotel organise the entertainment, without much involvement from the company organiser. Although you can understand why this sometimes is the case (lack of time, lack of budget and sometimes lack of imagination!) it’s a bit of a cop out and this is a time for you, the organiser, to arrange something of a spectacular time which will also satisfy your budget.

I also know of another type of corporate entertainment arranged every year for suppliers and customers which spans two days of full on team sports, golf, shopping and prizes as well as dinner plus themed disco in a wonderful location, lovely – and I remember every single one I’ve been on over the years and not one has been a disappointment. Proof that everyone certainly has different ideas of arranging a memorable event!

Don’t forget to play your part too – you can’t expect to hide in an office at the company event so prepare your part in the whole experience – relax with a bit of humour and get involved. That’s all that is needed for an amazing bit of corporate entertainment you and your guests will have to remember!
